Battery storage (BESS)

Suntech SunStorage Pro 261 kWh for business, up to MWh scale, plus home batteries.

Overview

Battery storage (BESS)

For business we supply Suntech SunStorage Pro, an all-in-one system with 261 kWh capacity and 125 kW power, liquid cooling and built-in PCS, BMS and EMS. Cabinets connect in parallel up to MWh scale. For homes we offer LV and HV battery modules rated for 6,000 cycles.

  • 261 kWh / 125 kW in one cabinet, IP65
  • Liquid cooling, built-in PCS, BMS, EMS and safety systems
  • Scalable: e.g. 8 cabinets = 1 MW / 2.09 MWh
  • Charging at low prices and peak shaving

Research

What a site gains with a Suntech battery and our EMS

Our EMS optimises charging and discharging against day-ahead prices, shaves peaks and decides when to curtail at negative prices. The effect was measured in a study with real IBEX prices.

+122%

revenue of a 98.56 kWp plant after adding a Suntech 261 kWh cabinet (×2.1)

−45%

grid peak with peak-aware optimisation in the EMS

−47%

energy cost of a manufacturing site with PV + battery

41%

self-consumption under coordinated control (from 32%)

Results of a 2026 study by a TU Sofia team with Novacom's participation: a MILP model of a community of three industrial prosumers with Suntech SunStorage PRO equipment and twelve months of real day-ahead prices from IBEX (the Bulgarian power exchange). Values are simulated, for the specific sites in the study.
